Israel is an illegitimate state founded on the basis of Zionism, not Judaism

Karachi  (Palestine Foundation Information Center)  Palestine is the homeland of the Palestinians and Israel is an illegitimate state founded based on Zionism, not Judaism. These views were expressed by the Secretary General of Palestine Foundation Pakistan, Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam while addressing a seminar linked to Nakba Day (Day of Catastrophe) at Muhammad Ali Jinnah University in Karachi on Wednesday.

Secretary General of Palestine Foundation Pakistan Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam was the chief guest at the seminar. Dean of Social Science Dr. Muhammad Meraj, Head of Social Science Department Ishtiaq Kolachi, Dr. Rehan, Dr. Momin Fayyaz, Dr. Sikandar Shirazi, Dr. Kashif, and Hafiza Maryam were present in the seminar.

A large number of male and female faculty members and students were present, and at the end of the seminar, students also asked questions about the current situation in Palestine.

Addressing the seminar, Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam said that the Zionists have occupied Palestine. Today the Palestinians are fighting for their freedom and it is our responsibility to help the Palestinians in every possible way. He said that the father of the nation Muhammad Ali Jinnah fought vigorously against the plan of Zionist domination over Palestine before the establishment of Pakistan in the subcontinent. Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah declared Israel an illegitimate state and never recognized by Muslims of sub-continents and Pakistan.

He further said that it is a matter of happiness that the teachers and students of Muhammad Ali Jinnah University are concerned about Palestine, this is the ideology of Pakistan.

Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam said that the Palestinian resistance movements have defeated Israel on October 7. A great sacrifice has been made for a great success: the liberation of Palestine from river to sea. He said that today the American citizens are protesting against the American government. The United States is the patron of the usurping Zionist government. We sympathize with the students and teachers of the American universities and we fully support them.

Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam said that the only solution to the issue of Palestine is possible in the return of Palestinians to Palestine. Whoever supports the state of Israel in Palestine should establish Israel in his own country. He said in response to a question that everyone must continue supporting the Palestinian cause according to our strength. He thanked and paid tribute to all the faculty members, and students including the administration of Muhammad Ali Jinnah University for organizing the seminar on the occasion of Nakba Day.

At the end of the seminar, Ishtiaq Kolachi thanked the guests and Dean of Social Sciences Dr. Muhammad Meraj also presented an honorary shield to Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam.
