GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The municipality of Gaza said on Sunday the water tank and pipes in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood of Gaza City were severely damaged as a result of overnight bombardment by the Israeli occupation army.
The municipality said in a post on X that the ongoing Israeli attacks had inflicted extensive and far-reaching destruction on water infrastructure, with around 40 wells and 42,000 linear meters of pipelines damaged.
Gaza City suffers from critical water shortage due to limited fuel supplies and power outages as electricity is essential for operating water wells, according to the municipality.
