GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) At least 15 citizens were killed and 30 others wounded in an Israeli airstrike on the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip on Saturday morning.
Local sources said that Israeli warplanes targeted a group of citizens at the entrance of a displacement center in the refugee camp while trying to return to their homes in the camp.
They added that the shelling also targeted the vicinity of the nearby Kamal Adwan Hospital, where the casualties were transferred.
The sources said that the situation in the Jabalia camp was catastrophic following a week of siege by the invading Israeli troops, adding that food, water, and medicine were running out and ambulances and civil defense crews could not enter the camp to evacuate the wounded or bury the dead.
