WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a large-scale raid and arrest campaign in various areas of the West Bank at dawn Monday.
In al-Khalil, the IOF stormed Dura town and broke into several local homes before arresting at least six young men.
Similar raids were carried out in Idna town, west of al-Khalil, amid heavy firing of sound and tear gas bombs, causing several teargas inhalation cases.
In Bethlehem, the IOF arrested two brothers from Husan town and broke into a local house in Tuqu’ town.
In Jericho, the IOF troops carried out a large-scale raid campaign in Al-Auja town.
Meanwhile, two Palestinians were detained after IOF troops stormed Aqaba town, north of Tubas, which led to the outbreak of armed clashes.
As for Jenin, the Israeli forces stormed Deir Abu Daif, Jalqamous, and Zababdeh towns and carried out violent raids while firing live ammunition and teargas bombs.
The Israeli forces also arrested 3 Palestinians in Sinjil town, north of Ramallah.
