NABLUS (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Hundreds of heavily armed Jewish settlers broke into the town of Qusra, south of the West Bank city of Nablus, and set fire to citizens’ property on Thursday evening.
Local sources reported that hundreds of settlers stormed the southern area of the town under the protection of the Israeli occupation army, amid heavy shooting of gunfire.
The fanatic settlers attacked the homes of Palestinian citizens and torched farms there. Firefighters could not reach the place due to the deployment of Israeli occupation soldiers, the sources added.
Social media activists published scenes showing settlers setting fire to citizens’ homes and property in the town.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that two young men, one of them was 22 years old, were injured in the head by extremist settlers’ stones during clashes.
The town of Qusra is constantly exposed to raids by Israeli occupation forces and armed settlers who assault citizens right in their homes, shops, and farms.
Earlier on the day, fanatic settlers attacked the house of the son of the martyr Mahmoud Odeh, who was martyred in 2017 by settlers’ gunfire while working on his land in the village.
