GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The death toll from yesterday’s Israeli raid on an-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza has risen to 274 Palestinians, including 64 children and 57 women, according to the Government Media Office (GMO) on Sunday.
In a statement, GMO said the number of wounded civilians, who were evacuated to hospitals following the attack on a camp, climbed to 698, including 153 children, 161 women, and 54 elderlies.
GMO pointed out that the Israeli occupation army used two civilian cars in its attack on a camp, while its soldiers who participated in the Nuseirat massacre disguised themselves as displaced persons.
The occupation army bombed 89 inhabited homes and residential buildings during the massacre, GMO added.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army pounded central Gaza anew on Sunday, a day after killing and injuring hundreds of Palestinians during a raid to free Israeli captives. Tanks also advanced into further areas of Rafah, according to local media sources.
