GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation army released on Tuesday 50 Palestinian prisoners in poor health conditions into the Gaza Strip through a military border crossing, west of Beit Lahia.
According to local sources, the prisoners were transferred to the Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, where they underwent medical examinations that confirmed their exposure to torture during their detention by the Israeli army.
One of the released prisoners described the incarceration conditions in an Israeli detention center as “indescribable,” affirming that they had been tortured and deprived of seeing sunlight during their presence in the center.
He added that one of his fellow prisoners, a resident of Jabalia, died after Israeli soldiers savagely beat him in his head multiple times.
