WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped at dawn Wednesday at least 20 Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank.
According to local sources, the IOF stormed different neighborhoods of Jenin City and kidnaped six young men after ransacking their homes.
The IOF also set fire to sidewalk merchandise belonging to a local resident in Jenin.
Meanwhile, al-Quds Brigades of Islamic Jihad said that a group of its fighters showered the Israeli forces in Jenin with bullets and clashed with them.
In al-Khalil, the IOF kidnaped eight citizens during raids in Dura town. Member of the local municipal council Ismail al-Awawed was among the detainees.
Israeli forces also raided a printing and publication facility and confiscated some of its contents in al-Fawwar refugee camp in al-Khalil.
Four young men were reportedly kidnaped during IOF raids in Hadab al-Fawwar village, south of al-Khalil.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces stormed Halhul City in northern al-Khalil and seized a large number of Palestinian-owned cars.
In Qalqilya, the IOF detained once again the mother of a wanted citizen called Tareq Dawoud during a raid in the city to pressure him to turn himself in.
Local sources said that a young man was injured when an IOF vehicle rammed into him in Qalqilya City.
Meanwhile, clashes broke out between local youths and Israeli soldiers during an IOF raid in Kafr Qaddum town, east of Qalqilya.
In Bethlehem, the IOF kidnaped a young man from his home and summoned another one for interrogation.
In Nablus, a large number of Israeli troops stormed different neighborhoods of the city and the old and new refugee camps of Askar, with no reported arrests. Resistance fighters detonated an explosive device at an IOF vehicle during the raid in the city.
