GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Hamas Movement mourned “the heroic martyr Sa’eid al-Jaber, who was killed in an Israeli airstrike on his home in the Nur Shams camp, east of Tulkarem, in the northern West Bank” on Sunday afternoon.
The martyr was killed after an honorable path of jihad and resistance, the Movement said in a statement.
“The aggression on Nur Shams camp came as part of the comprehensive war waged by the Zionist extremist government against our Palestinian people everywhere,” the statement reads.
“In the West Bank, the fascist occupation army and settlers continue their brutal attacks on our people, their land, and their resources, as part of their plans seeking to liquidate our national cause and exterminate and displace our people,” it added.
Hamas affirmed, “The blood of our martyrs will not go in vain, but rather constitutes fuel for the flame of the ongoing and escalated resistance.”
The Movement further called on all Palestinian resistance factions to “escalate confrontation with the fascist enemy, respond to its aggression, and hold the occupation and its settlers accountable for their crimes.”
Earlier Sunday, Sa’eid al-Jaber was martyred and five others were injured in an Israeli drone strike that targeted a house in Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarem City.
