GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Hamas Movement condemned the brutal massacre committed by the Israeli occupation on Sunday, by bombing Al-Nasr and Hassan Salameh schools west of Gaza City, killing dozens of displaced Palestinians.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Hamas said that “this massacre is an insistence on the extermination war waged by the Zionist enemy against defenseless civilians, violating all international laws and norms.”
Hamas called on the international community and the Arab and Islamic countries to live up to their responsibilities and work to stop these crimes and hold the perpetrators accountable.
It said that the Israeli occupation aims at terrorizing, intimidating, and displacing the Palestinian people.
The Movement pointed out that such crimes will not break the Palestinian people’s strong will and steadfastness.
Earlier on Sunday, 30 civilians were killed in the Gaza Strip after the Israeli occupation army launched a series of airstrikes on two schools in Gaza City sheltering thousands of displaced persons.
Local sources reported that Israeli fighter jets simultaneously bombed the Hassan Salameh school and the private An-Nasr school west of Gaza City.
