The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, said in a statement on Monday, “The European Union is “extremely concerned” about Israel’s relentless damage to critical civilian infrastructure in Gaza, including a water treatment plant in Rafah.
Borrell added that the worsening humanitarian crisis is exacerbating the spread of epidemics and infections among civilians, especially children.
The Israeli occupation army has continued since the seventh of October last year, its aggression against the Gaza Strip, with US and European support, leading to the killing of 39,623 people, the injury of 91,469 others, and the displacement of 90% of the residents of the Strip.
