WEST BANK(Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) injured four Palestinian citizens and kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank and Jerusalem last night and on Wednesday morning.
According to local sources, three young citizens, including a 17-year-old teenager, were injured by IOF gunfire during clashes between local youths and Israeli forces in Beit Furik town, east of Nablus.
Israeli forces also stormed Balata refugee camp in Nablus, attacked local youths with live ammunition, tear gas canisters and stun grenades, raided homes and detonated a headquarters belonging to the Fatah Movement.
A similar IOF raid took place in the Old City of Nablus, with no reported arrests.
In Bethlehem, a young man was injured by IOF gunfire during clashes with local youths in al-Deheisha refugee camp.
The IOF reportedly kidnaped from the camp the father and two brothers of martyr Mohamed Hammash, who was shot dead yesterday after he stabbed and lightly injured an Israeli soldier at the Tunnel checkpoint in southern Jerusalem.
Another young man was kidnaped by the IOF from his home in Dawha town, west of Bethlehem.
In Qalqilya, Israeli forces stormed the city and kidnaped the fathers of three martyrs.
The IOF also kidnaped the father and brother of a wanted young man in Ja’idi neighborhood in Qalqilya City.
In Jericho, Israeli troops stormed Aqabat Jabr refugee camp and kidnaped three citizens, including two brothers.
In Tulkarem, two citizens were taken prisoners following IOF raids in the towns of Illar and Zeita.
In east Jerusalem, Israeli police forces assaulted and detained several Palestinian citizens during raids on homes in Qalandia refugee camp and then released most of them after interrogating them.
The Israeli police reportedly took three young brothers from the family of Awawdeh with them and burned a bus before withdrawing from Qalandia camp.
