RAMALLAH(Palestine Foundation Information Center) A Palestinian detainee was pronounced dead at an Israeli hospital after he succumbed to a serious bullet injury he sustained when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at him and other young men in Jenin a week ago.
According to the Palestinian Prisoner Society, 34-year-old Kifah Dabaya, a resident of Kafr Dan town in Jenin, died of a serious bullet injury at Israel’s Rambam Hospital after he was kidnaped along with two other wounded young men during an IOF raid in Jenin on August 6.
The IOF kidnaped Dabaya and two others identified as Jihad Hussein and Ahmed Farahati after opening fire at them and injuring them during a raid on a house in Kafr Qud village, west of Jenin.
Meanwhile, another young man identified as Sobhi al-Bad from Jenin City died of a serious bullet injury at the Jenin Hospital on Sunday evening.
Director of the hospital Wisam Bakr said that Bad died of an injury he sustained last week during an IOF raid in Jenin.
Five young men were martyred last Tuesday, August 6, and six others, including Bad, suffered shrapnel and bullet wounds in the IOF raid.
