BEIRUT(Palestine Foundation Information Center) Three Lebanese resistance fighters were martyred on Sunday in different Israeli attacks on towns in southern Lebanon.
According to a security source, the Israeli occupation army intensified its aerial and artillery on towns in southern Lebanon on Sunday evening, killing two people and injuring two others.
Another person was also proclaimed dead after he succumbed to serious injuries he had sustained in an Israeli airstrike on Beit Lif town last week.
All the martyrs were identified as members of the Islamic resistance in southern Lebanon.
Tensions along Lebanon’s border escalated on October 8, 2023 following a barrage of rockets launched by the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah towards Israel in solidarity with Gaza the day before. Israel then retaliated by firing heavy artillery towards southeastern Lebanon.
