SALFIT, (PIC) A horde of extremist Jewish settlers bulldozed and destroyed on Sunday an olive grove in Yasuf village in the east of Salfit, northwest of the occupied West Bank. According to local sources, settlers escorted by soldiers bulldozed six dunums of land in al-Serb area of Yasuf village, uprooting about 100 olive trees aged between 50 and 60 years. The sources said that the settlers plan to expand the illegal outpost of Nofei Nehemia, which was built on private Palestinian land in the southern area of the village. They added that the swaths of land, which the settlers bulldozed today, belong to local residents from the village, pointing out that this land is located about 100 meters away from the villagers’ homes.
