WEST BANK(Palestine Foundation Information Center) One Palestinian was injured and several others were kidnaped last night and on Sunday morning by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in the West Bank, amid clashes with resistance fighters in different areas.
According to local sources, a young man suffered a bullet injury in his thigh during an IOF raid in al-Ein refugee camp, northwest of Nablus.
Armed clashes reportedly took place between resistance fighters and Israeli forces near al-Ein camp.
The IOF also stormed Kafr Dan town in the northwest of Jenin and clashed with resistance fighters.
Al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas said that a group of its fighters showered IOF vehicles with bullets and detonated explosive devices at them in Kafr Dan.
Similar clashes took place between fighters from al-Quds Brigades of Islamic Jihad and Israeli soldiers in Silat al-Harithiya town, northwest of Jenin.
In Tubas, resistance fighters opened fire at the IOF-controlled al-Hamra checkpoint and detonated an explosive device at the separation wall near Azzun town in eastern Qalqilya before Israeli forces stormed the town and clashed with local youths.
Meanwhile, local youths threw Molotov cocktails at Israeli cars traveling on road 55 near Azzun town.
The IOF reportedly kidnaped journalist Hamza Ziyoud and another citizen during its raid in Silat al-Harithiya town, west of Jenin.
Israeli soldiers also kidnaped a young man from the family of Mar’iee to pressure his brother to turn himself in during a raid in Kafr Dan town, northwest of Jenin.
Another citizen was taken prisoner during an IOF raid in Azzun town, east of Qalqilya.
The IOF also raided homes in al-Ein camp in Nablus and nearby areas and kidnaped three citizens.
In al-Khalil, the IOF kidnaped three citizens from the city and another one from Bani Naim town.
Last night, the IOF kidnaped five citizens, including two brothers, from Burqa village near Nablus as they were on their way home from work.
In east Jerusalem, Israeli police forces kidnaped six citizens and assaulted members of families during raids on homes in Issawiya district.
