QALQILIA(Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot and killed 18-year-old Tareq Ziad Abdulraheem Daoud near the town of Azoun, east of Qalqilya, the Palestinian health ministry said on Monday evening.
The General Authority for Civil Affairs informed the Palestinian Ministry of Health of the killing of the teen Tareq Daoud by IOF gunfire, saying that his body was upheld.
Local sources reported that the Israeli soldiers stationed in a military tower at the entrance of Azzun town opened fire at the vehicle in which Daoud was riding on his way into the town for allegedly carrying out a shooting operation in Qalqilya.
A Jewish settler was seriously injured in the alleged shooting.
Daoud was released in the prisoner exchange deal between the Palestinian resistance and the Israeli occupation last November.
Daoud was suspected of carrying out several shooting operations after his release. The IOF raided his family’s home in Qalqilya more than once and arrested a number of his family members to pressure him to surrender himself.
