GAZA(Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Hamas Movement condemned the Israeli military court’s ruling to release the Israeli soldiers accused of sexually abusing a Palestinian detainee in Sde Teiman prison into house arrest pending investigation, accusing the Israeli occupation army and courts of complicity in the heinous crime.
In a press statement on Tuesday, Hamas reiterated its calls on the international community, especially international judicial bodies, to investigate this horrific case, and other violations committed against Palestinian prisoners inside Israeli occupation prisons.
Earlier on Tuesday, an Israeli military court ordered the release of the Israeli soldiers accused of sexually abusing a Palestinian prisoner from the Gaza Strip in the Sde Teiman detention camp.
The Israeli occupation army announced that it had reached an agreement with the military prosecution, according to which the soldiers will be released to house arrest pending investigations.
