TUBAS(Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Hamas Movement mourned the five martyrs who were killed in the city of Tubas by Israeli occupation forces’ (IOF) gunfire during its ongoing military operation in the Tubas province and its towns.
“The Israeli occupation army’s intensification of its aggression and raids on the cities and (refugee) camps of the West Bank, and the escalation of killings, assassinations, arrests and restrictions necessitate that all components and spectrums of our Palestinian people adhere to the utmost degree of unity, solidarity and alignment to resistance, to thwart the Israeli crimes, violations and fascist plans”, the Movement said in a press statement on Wednesday.
Hamas praised “the heroic confrontation and clashes waged by the Palestinian resistance, led by the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, against the Israeli raid on the city of Tubas and the town of Tamun,” calling on the resistance fighters and revolutionary youth in the occupied West Bank to intensify resistance operations against Israeli occupation soldiers and settlers across all of the occupied Palestinian territories.
Earlier on Wednesday, five Palestinian young men were martyred in an Israeli raid on Tubas city and Tamun town in the occupied West Bank.
According to local sources, the IOF killed four young men during a drone strike on a car in Tamun town, south of Tubas province.
Meanwhile, the freed prisoner Fayez Abu Amer was also martyred on Wednesday morning, during clashes with IOF soldiers after they surrounded his home in Tubas, northeast of the West Bank.
