AL-KHALIL(Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) demolished on Wednesday four Palestinian homes, a tent and two other facilities in Masafer Yatta, south of Al-Khalil, in southern West Bank.
Local sources reported that the IOF stormed the Um al-Khair Bedouin community in Masafer Yatta, and bulldozed four homes, a tent and two caravans, owned by Yasser al-Hathalin and his sons Adi, Anis and Ali, displacing 30 members of their families.
The IOF also destroyed water networks, tanks, and solar energy units.
About two months ago, the IOF demolished a home, a tent and a barracks owned by the al-Hathalin family, as part of a large-scale demolition operation that targeted 11 homes and residences and a number of tents and facilities in the Um al-Khair community.
The IOF has recently escalated demolition operations in Masafer Yatta significantly, as part of a colonial plan that the extreme Israeli right seeks to implement, which aims to displace residents from those areas in favor of colonial expansion operations.
