BETHLEHEM(Palestine Foundation Information Center) Israeli fanatic settlers set dozens of millennial olive trees on fire in Khalayel Al-Loz, southeast of Bethlehem, on Thursday just a few days after installing a settlement caravan in the area.
The director of the Bethlehem office of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Hassan Breijieh, said that a group of settlers attacked Palestinian lands in the Khallet Al-Qutun in the same area.
Breijieh explained that the settlers set fire to a number of olive trees, which led to burning dozens of trees that belong to the Al-Ubeiyat and Al-Mawaleh families.
He pointed out that a few days ago, settlers installed a caravan in the Khalayel Al-Loz and raised Israeli flags over its lands.
Since the outbreak of the genocide war on Gaza, settlers’ attacks on Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank have escalated amid Israeli occupation army’s intensified military campaigns in its cities and camps.
