DOHA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The member of Hamas political bureau, Hussam Badran, said what hinders reaching a ceasefire in Gaza is Israel’s continuing procrastination.
Badran told the Russian News Agency on Thursday evening that Hamas looks at the ongoing negotiations in Doha regarding a ceasefire and a prisoner exchange from a strategic perspective with the goal of ending the aggression on Gaza.
Badran said the negotiations must move toward the implementation of a framework agreement accepted previously and achieve a complete ceasefire, withdrawal of Israeli forces, return of displaced Palestinians, reconstruction, and a prisoner exchange deal.
