WEST BANK(Palestine Foundation Information Center) Fierce clashes erupted on Thursday after Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a large-scale raid and arrest campaign across the West Bank.
The confrontations were concentrated in Tulkarem province, as the IOF stormed the city, surrounded two hospitals, and deployed its snipers on buildings’ roof tops, while Israeli heavy vehicles destroyed the infrastructure in the camp western entrance to the camp amid the eruption of armed clashes, leading to the injury of a young man.
Meanwhile, the IOF bombed a house in the suburb of Ektaba to the east of Tulkarem, after besieging it on Thursday morning.
The IOF also deployed its military vehicles on Nablus Street in the suburb of Thenaba, amid confrontations by resistance fighters who detonated several homemade explosive devices at IOF military vehicles, leading to the injury of an Israeli soldier, according to Israeli media.
In a similar context, the IOF carried out several arrests including a minor from the town of Deir Balout near Salfit, four young men from Nablus Governorate and a martyr’s brother in Qalqilya.
