JERICHO(Palestine Foundation Information Center) Jewish settlers established a new settlement outpost near the Auja Spring, north of the city of Jericho, on Wednesday.
Hassan Melihat, the general supervisor of the Al-Baidar organization for the defense of Bedouin rights, explained that the settlers established a settlement outpost adjacent to the Auja Spring, 150 meters away. It included a tent, 20 camels, and a water tank.
Melihat pointed to the increasing number of newly established pastoral settlement outposts in the Jordan Valley region, in addition to the escalated pace of settlers’ attacks against the neighboring Bedouin population.
