NAZARETH(Palestine Foundation Information Center) Former Hamas captive Noa Argamani refuted the lies of the Israeli media regarding her being subjected to beating or humiliation during her 8-month captivity with the Palestinian resistance in Gaza.
Argamani, through her Instagram page, criticized the Israeli media for taking her statements out of context and misrepresenting their true meaning.
Argamani said, “I cannot ignore what the Israeli media has done to me in the past 24 hours, by taking my words out of context.”
She continued, “The Hamas elements did not beat me in captivity, nor did they cut my hair. Rather, I was injured when a wall collapsed due to an Israeli air strike.”
Argamani emphasized, “I stress that no one beat me in captivity, but I was injured all over my body after the air strike. I am a victim of the October 7th operation and cannot be a victim again of the Israeli media.”
Hamas’s armed wign the Qassam Brigades had captured Argamani along with 252 Israelis during the Al-Aqsa Flood operation on October 7, 2023.
Argamani said that the Qassam Brigades members moved her between houses and occasionally allowed her to go out to breathe fresh air, while she was disguised as an Arab woman.
On June 8, the occupying army forces carried out a military operation in the Nuseirat camp in the Gaza Strip to free Argamani, which led to the martyrdom of more than 200 Palestinians and the injury of hundreds.
