WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed last night and Sunday morning different areas of the West Bank and kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens.
According to local sources, the IOF stormed Balata refugee camp in Nablus, destroyed roads and kidnaped six citizens, including a father and his son, from their homes.
The Red Crescent said that its paramedics provided medical assistance for two women in their 50s and a 62-year-old man after they were assaulted by Israeli soldiers in Balata camp.
Meanwhile, al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades said that its fighters showered Israeli forces in the camp with bullets.
The IOF also kidnaped two citizens from Rujeib town and Madama village in Nablus.
In Qalqilya, Israeli forces kidnaped the mother and brother of a young man accused of carrying out the Qadumim operation after raiding their home in Baqa al-Hatab.
Two young men from Qalqilya were also kidnaped at an IOF checkpoint near Ramallah City.
In al-Khalil, Israeli forces raided homes, searched cars and kidnaped five citizens from their homes during a campaign in the city.
Two other citizens were kidnaped from Teqoa town in the south of Bethlehem.
In east Jerusalem, Israeli police forces kidnaped two citizens from their homes in Qalandia refugee camp.
In separate incidents, Palestinian young men clashed with Israeli soldiers and extremist settlers in different areas of the West Bank on Saturday evening.
In Nablus, local youths fended off settlers who attacked the eastern area of Rujeib village before Israeli soldiers stormed the village and attacked local residents. A number of young men were reportedly injured during the IOF attack on the village.
Clashes also broke out between young men and Israeli soldiers in Beit Furik town, east of Nablus.
Local sources said that two young men suffered bullet injuries during the IOF raid in Beit Furik and another one was injured after Israeli soldiers assaulted him, adding that the soldiers deliberately destroyed a number of cars in the town.
In al-Khalil, a number of Palestinian citizens, including two women, were injured on Saturday evening when a horde of armed settlers attacked them with batons in Susya village.
In Bethlehem, a horde of settlers set up three tents on swaths of land belonging to Palestinian citizens in al-Mania village.
