OCCUPIED JERUSALEM(Palestine Foundation Information Center) A horde of extremist Jewish settlers established on Tuesday a new illegal settlement outpost near the Bedouin village of Khan al-Ahmar in the east of Occupied Jerusalem.
Head of the village council Eid Yassin said that this colonial outpost is located only 150 meters away from the Bedouin village of Khan al-Ahmar, adding that the settlers placed a tent and power generators in this area and started to assault Palestinian Bedouins living in nearby communities.
Yassin warned that those settlers would pose a danger to the Palestinian students in the area as they walk to their school early next month.
He said that such settler violations are part of a systematic policy pursued by the Israeli occupation regime against the Bedouin population in the area to force them to leave their tents and evacuate their hamlets as a prelude to establishing Jewish pastoral settlements in the Bedouin areas of Jerusalem.
