DOHA(Palestine Foundation Information Center) Head of Hamas’s foreign political bureau Khaled Mishaal has urged the Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank to return to the option of “martyrdom operations” initially in their cities and then fight the occupation on all fronts.
“For 200 years, the Zionist enemy has made Jerusalem and the construction of the temple a stimulant to gather the Zionist movement from all over the world into Palestine,” Mishaal said in a recorded speech delivered on Wednesday in a news conference held by the International al-Quds Institution.
“Today, a major battle is taking place on the land of Gaza, which we have been following for 11 days … Gaza is fighting a world war almost alone,” Mishaal said.
“Gaza today has been isolated. There are massacres being committed and a removal attempt being thwarted by our people, but the Gazans suffer from massacres, destruction, repeated displacement, starvation, systematic killing and a genocidal war,” Mishaal underlined.
Mishaal stressed the need for everyone to move practically to be part of the battle being fought by the Palestinian resistance in Gaza and shoulder their responsibilities in this regard.
“The enemy has waged a war against us all, and it says I am fighting an existential war. It strikes everywhere — Tehran, Beirut, Damascus and Sana’a — and it will strike in other places whose people think they are safe,” Mishaal stressed.
“Hamas is exercising its responsibilities towards its Palestinian people, and it is working to stop the aggression against Gaza. We are also seeking to provide urgent relief to the people of Gaza … We are moving politically and diplomatically to stop the aggression,” the Hamas leader said.
He also accused the US administration of being an accomplice in Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza and not being serious about stopping its war crimes.
