AL-KHALIL(Palestine Foundation Information Center) Israeli settlers attacked on Wednesday morning Palestinian homes and seized their barracks in Wadi al-Malaqi in the village of al-Buwaib, northeast of the town of Yatta, south of the Al-Khalil Governorate.
A group of armed settlers from the Bnei Hefer settlement stormed Wadi Al-Malaqi in the village of al-Buwaib at dawn hours and dismantled six tin houses and barracks belonging to the Al-Mahaniya family and transferred them to an unknown location. The settlers proceeded in their attacks under the protection of Israeli occupation forces (IOF).
Two days ago, armed settlers attacked residents of the same village and attempted to steal their livestock, amid confrontation by the citizens, who threw stones at them. Six Palestinian citizens were injured in the settlers’ attack.
Meanwhile, the IOF arrested 12 citizens from the same village and transferred them to an unknown location.
The settlers’ attacks coincided with a large-scale military operation launched by the IOF in the cities of the northern West Bank, specifically Tubas, Tulkarem, and Jenin.
The military operation, which began last night, resulted in the martyrdom of about 11 Palestinians and the injury of many others, while IOF armored vehicles encircled several hospitals amidst extensive raids and armed clashes with Palestinian resistance fighters.
