JENIN(Palestine Foundation Information Center) Phone and internet services are down in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin, according to Palestinian Telecommunications Company (Paltel) and Ooredoo Group.
The telecommunications firms say the connectivity failure has been caused by the Israeli “aggression” in Jenin, which has damaged their main and backup lines in the area.
However, the companies’ technical crews have been working hard since yesterday to restore services as quickly as possible despite the situation on the ground.
In a related context, the central operations room of the Red Crescent confirmed that its contact with the Jenin ambulance center and its entire crews was lost today due to the cessation of the phone and internet services and other wireless telecommunications means.
