TULKAREM(Palestine Foundation Information Center) A Palestinian citizen was martyred on Wednesday evening when an Israeli sniper shot him in Nur Shams refugee camp in the east of Tulkarem, northwest of the West Bank.
According to medical sources, 62-year-old Ayed Abul-Haija, who had a physical disability, was shot at while being inside his house.
According to his family, no one knew about his death until one of his relatives visited him two hours later and found him covered in blood.
Yesterday, media sources reported that ambulance crews had not been able to reach him to transfer his body to the hospital due to the tight siege imposed by the occupation forces on the camp.
