AL-KHALIL(Palestine Foundation Information Center) Dozens of Palestinian citizens suffered from their exposure to tear gas at dawn Tuesday during skirmishes with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Sa’ir town and al-Fawwar refugee camp in al-Khalil, south of the West Bank.
According to local sources, Israeli forces fired live and rubber bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas canisters at young men in Sa’ir and al-Fawwar camp.
Several young men suffered from inhaling tear gas and received on-site medical assistance.
Meanwhile, the IOF set up more military checkpoints at the entrances of al-Khalil City and the areas around it, closed main and side roads with barriers, concrete blocks and mounds of dirt and rocks.
IOF vehicles and one armored bulldozer also stormed in the morning Balata refugee camp in eastern Nablus, which provoked clashes with local youths.
