NABLUS(Palestine Foundation Information Center) A Palestinian child succumbed to serious wounds on Friday evening after she was shot by fanatic Jewish settlers during their attack on the town of Qaryout, in southern Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, the 13-year-old Bana Amjad Bakr was critically injured by live ammunition in the chest during clashes between the villagers and the extremist settlers who attacked the village under the protection of Israeli occupation forces. She was later pronounced dead.
Another injury was reported as a Palestinian man was shot by the fanatic settlers.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced that its teams treated a 13-year-old girl who was seriously injured by live bullets in the chest, adding that its crews dealt with another injury with a live bullet in the hand during the confrontations.
Local sources reported that a group of fanatic settlers attacked the village of Qaryout, near Nablus, shooting live bullets and setting fire to large areas of its agricultural lands.
The sources added that the villagers confronted the attacking settlers, leading to the eruption of confrontations between the two sides.
