NABLUS(Palestine Foundation Information Center) An American activist, of Turkish origin, was shot dead on Friday by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in the town of Beita, south of Nablus in the West Bank.
The director of Rafidia Governmental Hospital in Nablus, Fuad Nafaa, announced the martyrdom of the 26-year-old American solidarity activist, Aysenur Ezi Eygi.
Nafaa explained that she arrived at the hospital after she had been shot with a live bullet in the head, with tissues of her brain out of her head, noting that medical teams tried to rescue her, but she succumbed to her critical injury.
Medical sources reported that the victim was shot along with an 18-year-old man who was shot in the thigh during the Israeli suppression of the Beita weekly protest march against Israeli settlement activity which led to the outbreak of confrontations and clashes with the IOF.
