GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Spokesman for Al-Qassam Brigdes, Abu Obeida, said that the shooting attack carried out by Jordanian citizen, Maher Al-Jazi, is “heroic”, calling him a hero of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
“The Jordanian hero’s pistol in supporting our Al-Aqsa Mosque and our people was more effective than massive armies and stacked military arsenal,” he said in a statement.
“The operation is a reflection of the conscience of our nation.”
The attack earlier today occurred on the King Hussein (Allenby) Bridge border crossing between the occupied West Bank and Jordan. Three Israeli border guards were killed in the operation.
