LONDON (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The World Food Program (WFP) said on Monday that 2.2 million people in the Gaza Strip are still in dire need of urgent aid after 11 months of the Israeli war on the besieged enclave.
It added in a statement on X platform that the repeated Israeli evacuation orders were impeding its efforts in extending aid to the people of Gaza.
The WFP said that the need for food and other aid material is increasing, but the Israeli forced displacement of the people in the Strip hinder the program’s efforts in this regard.
“We need a ceasefire now,” it concluded.
