WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed last night and at dawn Saturday different areas of the West Bank, where they raided homes, kidnaped at least two Palestinians and assaulted others.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped one young citizen from his home during a raid in al-Ein refugee camp near Nablus City, amid clashes with resistance fighters.
Eyewitnesses said that resistance fighters attacked IOF vehicles with an explosive device in the camp.
The IOF also kidnaped a citizen at the entrance of Jericho City. He was identified as lawyer Mohamed Tarabiya from Tulkarem.
In Qalqilya, Israeli forces stormed the town of Hajja and Baqat al-Hatab and patrolled their streets, without making arrests.
Local sources said that the IOF raided several homes and assaulted a family after intercepting their car in Baqat al-Hatab.
The IOF also raided several homes during raids in Ya’bad town in Jenin and the towns of Deir Nidham and Deir Abu Mash’al in northern Ramallah, with no reported arrests.
Last night, violent clashes broke out between local youths and Israeli forces in Madama town, south of Nablus.
A number of citizens suffered from their exposure to tear gas during the IOF raid in Madama town.
Israeli soldiers also raided homes in the town, confiscated security camera recordings, and detained and interrogated several young men during their presence in a soccer field before releasing them later.
