WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation army demolished on Monday morning a Palestinian house in al-Jiftlik village, north of Jericho, while a horde of settlers bulldozed swaths of land in Salfit in the West Bank.
According to local sources, Israeli forces with a bulldozer stormed al-Jiftlik village and embarked on knocking down a two-story house that had been built 15 years ago.
The Israeli army claimed the house, which belonged to Nael Bani Odeh, was built with no permits.
In Salfit, extremist Jewish settlers bulldozed swaths of Palestinian-owned land in Qarawat Bani Hassan town as a prelude to annexing them to build settlement projects.
This area of the town is considered one of the archeological, touristic and recreational areas in the occupied West Bank, where horse shows, competitions and many social activities are organized by the local residents.
