WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Palestinian citizen was injured and others were kidnaped by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) during dawn raids in the West Bank on Tuesday.
According to local and security sources, one citizen was seriously injured by IOF gunfire in the Old City of Nablus.
The sources added that one young man was seriously injured and then kidnaped after Israeli forces stormed different neighborhoods of the Old City of Nablus, amid sounds of explosions and gunfire.
A medical source said that Israeli soldiers prevented an ambulance crew from providing the wounded young man with medical assistance, describing his injury as extremely critical.
The IOF also raided a number of homes in the Old City of Nablus and kidnaped a citizen.
Similar IOF raids took place in Nablus’s neighborhoods of Rafidia and al-Makhfiya and al-Ein refugee camp. Another young citizen was kidnaped from his home in the camp.
In Bethlehem, 10 citizens were taken prisoners during IOF raids on homes in al-Khader town.
Israeli forces also stormed other areas of Bethlehem province, including al-Deheisha refugee camp, Beit Jala town and Artas village, with no reported arrests.
In al-Khalil, the IOF stormed al-Daher area in Beit Ummar town and Shaab as-Sir area in Surif town and kidnaped four citizens from their homes.
Another IOF raid happened in Idhna town, west of al-Khalil, where they kidnaped a citizen from his home and confiscated a laptop belonging to an ex-detainee called Khalil al-Awawdeh after ransacking his house.
The IOF also stormed other areas of the West Bank and east Jerusalem, without making arrests.
