BEIRUT (Palestine Foundation Information Center) As its war on Lebanon entered day 11 on Thursday, the Israeli occupation army continued to launch aerial attacks on the east and south of Lebanon, especially the southern suburb of Beirut, killing and injuring dozens of people, mostly civilians.
According to Lebanese media outlets, Israeli warplanes carried out at least 20 raids on Beirut’s southern suburb in the past few hours.
Lebanon’s health ministry said that six civilians were martyred and seven others were injured in an Israeli airstrike at dawn in al-Bashura area in central Beirut.
Before the airstrikes that happened last night on Lebanon, the health ministry said that 46 people were killed and 85 others were injured following Israeli air raids during the past 24 hours in different areas of Lebanon.
Since Wednesday morning, Israeli ground forces have been trying to invade southern Lebanon, but they have been facing fierce resistance from Hezbollah fighters. Dozens of Israeli soldiers were either killed or injured in Lebanese border areas.
