NAZARETH (Palestine Foundation Information Center) At least eight Israelis were injured in a stabbing attack on Wednesday in the city of Hadera, north of Tel Aviv, amid conflict over the fate of the resistance fighter, who carried out the attack.
The Israeli ambulance service Magen David Adom described the injury of five Israelis as critical and serious. Meanwhile, the Israeli police forces reported that the stabbing attack took place in three different locations in the city of Hadera.
According to the Israeli Channel 12, initial reports indicate that the resistance fighter of the stabbing attack was killed by Israeli police forces, noting that reinforcement headed to the site of the incident.
As for the Maariv newspaper, it said that the attacker managed to escape, with no confirmed information on his fate and identity.
While the Israeli army radio said that the attacker was a 36-year-old Palestinian called Ahmed Jabarin, elaborating that he lives in the city of Um Al-Fahm in the 1948 occupied Palestine.
Since the beginning of the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the number of stabbing and shooting operations has escalated against Israelis at checkpoints in the West Bank and the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories.
