Settlers seize lands in Silwan and Jabal al-Mukaber

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Jewish settlers seized Palestinian-owned lands in the Wadi Hilweh neighborhood of Silwan town and Jabal al-Mukaber in Occupied Jerusalem on Wednesday evening.

Local residents were surprised by settlers storming a 90-square-meter land in the Wadi Hilweh neighborhood, under the pretext of buying it from its owner.

Meanwhile, another group of settlers seized a land in Jabal al-Mukaber town.

The settlers installed an iron fence and surveillance cameras around the confiscated land from all sides, and built a room on it.

On the other hand, the Israeli municipality crews stormed several neighborhoods in Silwan town, distributed demolition orders and summonses, and filmed local homes.
