GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) At least 28 citizens were martyred, and dozens wounded on Thursday in a horrific massacre committed by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in the Rufaidah School, which shelters thousands of displaced people in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
The PIC correspondent reported the arrival of more than 28 bodies of martyrs, most of them in pieces, in addition to dozens of injuries, in the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah after the IOF bombed the school, which is sheltering thousands of the displaced.
Meanwhile, the Government Media Office (GMO) said that the Israeli occupation army committed a heinous massacre by bombing the Rufaidah school for the displaced in Deir al-Balah, which resulted in the martyrdom of 28 citizens and the injury of more than 92 others, most of whom children and women.
The GMO added that the occupation army was aware that this school included thousands of displaced children and women who were forced to leave their homes under bombardment of their neighborhoods, adding that the army bombed the school at peak time when children and women were gathering to obtain their daily food portions.
This massacre brings the number of shelters and displacement centers that were bombed by the Israeli occupation army to 190, affecting hundreds of thousands of people who were forced to displace amid the ongoing genocidal war in the Strip.
The GMO condemned the Israeli heinous massacre and called on the international community and all international and UN organizations to pressure the Israeli occupation authorities to stop the genocide crime and the bloodshed in the Gaza Strip that claimed the lives of hundreds of thousands of civilians in the Gaza Strip.
