WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Two Palestinians were killed in an Israeli drone air strike on a car near the Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarem, at dawn Friday.
“Two citizens were killed in an Israeli drone strike on a vehicle in the Jabal Al-Salihin area between the Dhannabah suburb and the Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem,” the official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported, citing unnamed security sources.
The two martyrs were identified as Iyad Muhammad Abdullah and Awad Jamil Saqr Omar.
The sources added that Israeli forces immediately stormed the area after the strike, retrieved the bodies of the men and withdrew from the location.
Earlier that evening, the Israeli army raided the Nur Shams refugee camp and imposed a siege on it before launching drone strikes.
During the raid, Israeli bulldozers ripped up parts of Nablus Street in the vicinity of the Seif Abu Libdeh Circle, as a drone hovered above the camp at a low altitude.
Since the start of the Israeli war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, 751 Palestinians were killed in the West Bank, including 164 children.
