‘We’ll be with you until victory,’ Ansarullah leader says after Sinwar’s martyrdom

Yemen (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The leader of Yemen’s popular resistance movement Ansarullah affirms his country’s robust support for the Palestinian cause following the martyrdom of Hamas’ Political Bureau Chief Yahya Sinwar.

“We will never give up on assisting the people of Palestine, and say this to our brothers in Palestine that you are not alone and we will be with you until victory,” Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said in a statement on Friday.

“The sacrifices made by the oppressed people of Palestine will never be exercised in futility, and God assists its oppressed and disadvantaged servants,” he added.

Houthi said Sinwar ascended to martyrdom while fighting on the battlefield, choosing the path of heroism and honor in God’s way.

Lebanon’s Hezbollah and Yemen’s Ansarullah honor Hamas’ martyred Political Bureau Chief, Yahya Sinwar, who was assassinated in a recent Israeli attack against Gaza.

He hailed Hamas’ former political leader for taking part in the most intense confrontations against the Zionist enemy, despite its all-out siege of the Gaza Strip and the international community and Arab world’s silence.

Khalil al-Hayya, Hamas’ Political Bureau’s deputy chief, confirmed Sinwar’s martyrdom during a direct clash with the Israeli forces in southern Gaza in a statement earlier in the day.

The 62-year-old played an instrumental role in coordinating and supervising the landmark operation that jolted the Zionist regime.

Before becoming Hamas’ political leader, Sinwar served as the group’s leader in Gaza for seven consecutive years. He spent 22 years in an Israeli prison before being released as part of a prisoner swap in 2011.
