GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Majd Security platform, affiliated with the resistance in the Gaza Strip, revealed new suspicious platforms on social media that carried various names, some of which claimed to offer financial and material assistance or distribute free credits, in addition to other pages advertising fake jobs.
Majd explained through its Telegram platform that after monitoring and scrutiny by specialized teams, it became clear that these pages are affiliated with Israeli intelligence, as they are directly managed by Israeli intelligence officers.
It said, “Through monitoring, it was found that these pages have several objectives, the most prominent of which are to lure citizens to obtain as much information as possible from them, as well as to recruit new agents, and to spread lies and malicious rumors aimed at inciting chaos.”
Majd quoted a security source as saying that several citizens recently faced attempts to recruit them through one of the intelligence pages, and these individuals rejected the approach and quickly reported it to the relevant authorities.
It pointed out that the suspicious pages are managed by Israeli intelligence, under the supervision of specialized teams from some of the most malicious intelligence officers. The operators of these pages rely on piquing the curiosity of some citizens and luring them into discussions to obtain specific information.
The Majd security platform urged the necessity of not liking or engaging with Israeli pages, but rather to block and report them. Otherwise, interaction with these pages could lead to shocking consequences and painful outcomes, contributing to the fulfillment of Israeli intelligence’s goals of recruitment.
