Yemenis Rally in Droves: Tens of Thousands Unite for Gaza and Lebanon

SANA’A  (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Tens of thousands of Yemeni citizens rallied on Friday afternoon in several cities of the country, especially in Sana’a, in solidarity with the war-torn Gaza Strip and Lebanon, whose peoples are facing a devastating Israeli war of extermination with full US support.

The demonstrations were organized following the Friday prayer in several cities, including Sana’a, Saada, Hajjah, al-Jawf, Dhamar, al-Mahwit, Raymah, Ibb, al-Bayda, ad-Dali, Lahj, Hodeida, and Taiz.

The participants carried flags of Yemen, Palestine and Lebanon and pictures of Hamas and Hezbollah leaders, and chanted slogans in support of Gaza and Lebanon.

In a joint statement, the organizers of the protests highlighted Yemen’s readiness to respond to any Zio-American escalation regardless of the sacrifices and challenges.

The statement applauded the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance factions for inflicting heavy losses on the enemy.
