KARACHI (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A pictorial exhibition on the subject of Gaza and Lebanon was organized on Thursday in collaboration by the Department of Food Science and Technology of the University of Karachi in collaboration with Palestine Foundation Pakistan (PLF).
Hundreds of students participated in the pictorial exhibition, highlighting the serious issues in Palestine and Lebanon. With the help of their art, the students highlighted the issue of genocide, including malnutrition in Palestine and Lebanon, and the boycott of international Zionist institutions.
In the pictorial exhibition, including pictures of Palestinian martyrs and innocent children, pictures based on the atrocities by the United States and Israel were also displayed, while the martyrs of the Palestinian resistance Hamas and Hezbollah, Ismail Haniya, Yahya Sinwar, Syed Hassan Nasrallah and Syed Hashim Safiuddin.
Palestinian and Lebanese flags were also placed in the pictorial exhibition.
Chairman of the department of food science and technology University of Karachi Dr. Abdul Haq, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammad Ghufran, Assistant Professor Dr. Tahira Mohsin, and Secretary General of Palestine Foundation Pakistan Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam participated in the pictorial exhibition.
Speaking at the end of the exhibition, the speakers appreciated the efforts of the students and highlighted their role while discussing the situation in Gaza and Lebanon.
The speakers said that there is not a war but genocide in Gaza and Lebanon. People are being killed with ammunition on one side and the other hand, hunger and thirst are being used as weapons to kill innocent human lives. They strongly condemned the indifference of the OIC and the rulers of Muslim and Arab countries including the international community.
The speakers said that as human beings and as Pakistanis, we will continue to support the oppressed Palestinians and the Lebanese people.
At the end of the exhibition and the seminar, the students were also given certificates and honorary shields.
