BEIRUT (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Lebanon’s health ministry said an Israeli strike on Sunday killed at least 20 people including three children in the village of Almat, north of the capital Beirut.
“The Israeli enemy strike on Almat in the Jbeil district killed 20 people, including three children and injured six, in an updated toll,” the health ministry said in a statement.
Overnight and on Sunday morning, the Israeli army launched intensive aerial attacks on Lebanon’s eastern and southern areas, especially in Baalbek and Tyre.
Hezbollah resistance fighters, in turn, continued to repel Israeli incursions and carried out multiple counterattacks on Israeli military sites and areas in the past 24 hours.
