JENIN (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Since last night, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have been carrying a large-scale campaign in Jenin City and its refugee camp, amid widespread destruction, raids on homes, and clashes with resistance fighters.
According to local sources, Israeli forces have been encircling a house in ash-Shuhada village in the south of Jenin City since last night.
The sources said that the IOF attacked the house with a projectile, amid clashes with resistance fighters who were inside the house, without providing further details.
However, media sources said that the IOF killed two wanted resistance fighters in the projectile attack on the house, while the Palestinian health ministry affirmed that three young men were martyred in the attack.
During its ongoing campaign, Israeli forces broke into and ransacked several homes, turned some of them into military posts and deployed some snipers on rooftops of tall building inside the city and the refugee camp.
In Jenin’s streets, resistance fighters from the Jenin Brigade and other armed groups clashed with the infiltrating troops and detonated homemade explosive devices at IOF vehicles, including a bulldozer.

Similar IOF raids also happened in different towns and villages in Nablus province.
Armed clashes took place between resistance fighters and Israeli troops during a violent IOF raid in Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus.
Local sources said that the IOF deployed snipers in Balata camp, bulldozed roads and infrastructure and flew drones over the area, amid clashes with local youths and resistance fighters.
In al-Khalil, the IOF kidnaped a child as he was walking to his school in the morning and injured him in his head in Tabaka village.
